~Like You By Eri Nelson~
Those younger days had found us and grasped our early hearts pulse into an intertwining embrace. Our youthful touches grazed the mere surface of a lifetime to an unquenchable need.
Even now as I sit and watch, you ready yourself I am drawn to a place of that formerly young breath taking awe. Yes, still you catch me unaware and leave me breathless to the hold you have on my heart. It is then that you give me laughter, which blows off my seated foolishness, and with a meager wave of your hand; you restart my lips panting flow.
As work beckons, we rise from our captured states and once again, I must relinquish my hold. However, within one starry blue stare I am filled a flutter. Long before your nightly kiss goodbye, my breast aches from your soul’s release.
Each and every time our separation is to pass, I stop between beats until…. Like You, my love is home again.
